Events of 2013
(July 15, 2013)It has been a very busy year so far, apart from the weddings and funerals , we have also been out and about doing lots of different events.
Back in April we took a unicorn of 3 black horses to the Road Club Spring Drive, which was held at Hever Castle, it was a fantastic sunny day and the horses went very well and all of our guests enjoyed themselves.
In May we headed to France to compete at Cuts, again we took the unicorn of Mischief, Bobby and Ali, unfortunatly the weather was not kind, and we were well wrapped up for the drive on the Sunday, the boys and of course Steve did us proud and after a great cones round we finished 3rd. We all had a very good weekend, there were 11 turnouts from Great Britain and we had a great team spirit.
In June it was time again for Royal Ascot Races, this year we went on Wednesday and Thursday, although it was a little overcast the rain did stay away and we had a fantastic couple of days, this was the new boy's ( Victor ) first time out, he was in the lead of the team and took Ascot high street's crowds in his stride, very pleased with him.
In July it was the Coaching Club Magazine Meet, this is held at Buckingham Palace and we drive the horses around London and back through Hyde park. Followed by a suberb lunch at the Goring hotel
In October we competed in the Riding Club Quadrille team with Bobby and Impulse. We came 5th just missing out on qualifying for Olympia. We plan to have a team again next year, watch this space !
In December we went to Holland to buy a young black horse, we have called him Edward. He has settled in very well and is working as a pair with both Mischief and Bobby
The last major event of 2013 was the Lord Mayors Show, we took Larry and Impulse as they both enjoy it so much, but it was wet, very wet !!
